My $1.50

Pattern: Dollar and a Half Cardigan from IK Spirng 2007
Yarn: KnitPicks CotLin in Royal Plum
Started March 8, 2007 Finished March 30, 2007
I changed the fronts and did them both in the lace/ rev St st pattern. The yarn is incredibly soft after washing blocking. I think I need to lightly steam the sleeves though. It was hard to block the sleeves without making a crease down the side.
I never thought I'd have this finished in time for Easter so Tuesday was a mad dash to Joann's for buttons and fabric for my mom to make me a skirt to wear with the sweater for Easter Sunday. I'm so excited to have it done!

The cotlin is great! It's a tiny bit stiff when you're working with it but it gets SOOOO soft after it's washed and blocked.

Really pretty. I'm glad to hear you like that yarn. I had bad luck with Knitpicks Main Line (never again!) but I like a lot of their other yarns.

The color is gorgeous and it looks like it fits you well.

I was browsing the $1.50 Cardigan KAL and I have to tell you that I love yours. I liked the initial pictures of the cardigan, but what I liked most a/b it was the stripe and lace. I'm not a huge fan of asymmetrical designs and I feel the changes you made will definitely stand the test of time. If you don't mind me asking, what size did you make?

I don't have the pattern with me but I made the 36 1/4" size, I believe. The one that I made is not the smallest but the next size up.

That is beautiful! I love the way it looks! Just wondering how many balls of the Cot Lin it took to finish the cardigan?
